The attire for the wedding reception is in some cases different from the one worn at the ceremony, for both the couple and their attendants. Although it’s more customary for the invitees to change into something fancier for the nigh party, many newlyweds of today decide to wear two attires at their wedding. The bride usually chooses two dresses for her big day: one for the religious ceremony and one for the reception party. It may seem only natural for a bride to want something more decent and serious for the church and then change into something a bit more attractive or comfy.

Those who are having a cathedral wedding and a pompous gown with a long train and veil might want to wear something a bit more simplistic and ‘realistic” at the party. You won’t be able to move, dance and enjoy the wedding in an elaborated gown. This is the primary reason for choosing a second bridal dress for the reception. Only those who have a big wedding budget can afford to make this move. Nevertheless, we think that any woman can save some extra cash for an extra gown for the wedding party.
